RE: Corrected 1989 Tax Rate Schedule
As a result of a printing error, the Tax Rate Schedule which appear
on page 36 of the 1989, N-12 Instruction Booklet, made references to Form
N-15 and Form N-15, Line 39. These references are, of course, inappropriate
for the N-12 Instruction Booklet. A copy of
the Corrected 1989 Tax Rate Schedules is attached to this announcement.
The brackets and rates as shown in the Tax Rate Schedules, as printed
in the Booklet, are correct. We feel, however, that Hawaii's taxpayers
deserve accurate information with which to determine their State tax liability.
For this reason, a copy of he 1989 Corrected tax Rate Schedules is also
being sent to appropriate resident taxpayers. The cost of correcting
this error is being paid for by the printer not the State of Hawaii.
