Multiple projects will impact nearly every part of the Department.

Five purposes - 1) integrated tax system, 2) data warehouse, analytics and BI, 3) e-Filing and customer support, 4) BPR and OCM, and 5) hardware and networking infrastructure.

1) integrated tax system includes - physical mail processing, imaging, document management, taxpayer registration and demographics, correspondence, cashiering, accounting, reporting, case management, workflow management, business rules

2) data warehouse, Analytics and BI includes - data warehouse, business intelligence

3) e-Filing and customer support includes - web portal, taxpayer service stations, interactive voice response, customer relationship management

4) BPR and OCM includes - business process reengineering, organizational change management

5) hardware and networking infrastructure includes - data centers, disaster recovery, network infrastructure, security enhancements, workstations hardware and networking infrastructure
